MY EXPERIENCE
While I taught 7th grade math, I established a flipped classroom. The students were presented with the material at night, which allowed for time to complete engaging activities during class.
I used the Knowmia Teach app to record my videos and I used Edmodo as the platform. (You can also use Google Classroom or Canvas.)
A typical homework assignment for my students would involve watching the assigned video, taking notes, and completing a short quiz to provide instant feedback. Edmodo also automatically provided my with analytical data on how my students performed on the quiz so that I can gauge who understood the concept and who didn't.
Since the lecture was given during homework, we had time during class to answer questions and complete real-world activities.
Here is a playlist of the videos I created for my 7th grade students.
